Giambattista Valli 2012

The intricate flower details that Valli uses this spring draw attention to the lace that covers the arms (like in this first picture) or the legs (like in the third) basically making the florals pop out and seemingly 3D. What I really find fascinating this season is the skirts. The pencil straight legs. The flair at the hips. And the tight fit around the waist is vintage, chic, and gorgeous. This is something that Valli keeps throughout the Spring 2012 line. Something that other designers should take note of.
